Perhaps we should ban playgrounds, as well.
The problem is not the means of death, it's the lapse of responsibility on the part of the parent. Period.

My initial response would require me banning myself but ...
Never said that, but the more guns that are around the more this kind of thing will happen.

Not in this post, but there is something you don't like.
What would you propose to fix this? Then that would be open for debate.

Not sure and it isn't about gun laws per se. Its more a question of the ease of availability to idiots.

?
So should we take IQ tests to drive cars?
How about taking an IQ test to vote?
Are you saying that rights are only for smart people?
What are you saying actually?
How would such a wise person as yourself legislate against idiocy?
What's next, telling me what I can eat?, drive? drink?
Just tell me how you plan to deal with idiots or are you going to seperate out idiots from non-idiots and have two seperate rules?
I'd be keen on hearing your new rules for governing idiots.
Maybe if we could keep idiots from breeding.......

Exactly right, conrad.
It's ironic that liberals decry "in-your face religion" yet at the same time want to decide how I live my life. Pot, meet kettle.

Actually, I think the person that started that thread is a conservative.

Funny how talking about guns brings out the worst in the pro gun folks.
I never mentioned banning or changing laws and I'm sure people are comforted by your ideology
