Gays in the military won't work.

Regardless of anyone on this message boards opinion to the contrary, wishing it wasn't so or whatever.....

I would truly feel sorry for anyone who was gay and open about it in the military.

Especially in grunt units in the Army and Marines.

It might work in the Air Force because they aren't really the military anyway.

I knew gay people in the military. Everyone knew who was gay and there were no problems. It's just a matter of accept it, get used to it or get out....

When the officers at the top are the ones that are afraid of what my transpire what order would you like for them to obey?

I have yet to see one former military member here say they would not serve with gay military personnel.

Personally I'm not ready for the US to loose 20, 30, 40% of its recruiting pool for 2% of the gay recruiting pool. Oh, I didn't pull the 2% out of my ***. I actually did a google search. You get those numbers to a 10-15 variance, go for it!!!
