Remember that's after they've been cleaning up for weeks so no idea what it looked like when the complaints first happened.

I emailed the author this morning about it and he said it's worse than the picture shows but he had a hard time getting better pics because the homeowner would only let him take certain shots.

I'm still torn.

That's interesting. You can't publish shots of someones backyard without permission?

That's just it. If the yard were an eyesore to the neighbors then you could shoot it from the street. It appears this is in a fenced bacyard and though not ideal, not as the article leads one to believe.
