Which party is in trouble again?

(CNN) -- Only one in 10 Americans said they believe Bush administration officials did nothing illegal or unethical in connection with the leaking of a CIA operative's identity, according to a national poll released Tuesday.

(CNN) -- A majority would vote for a Democrat over President Bush if an election were held this year, according to a CNN/USA Today/Gallup Poll released Tuesday.

40yearfan, what were you saying about the Demo's not being able to win an election any time soon? Jeez, at this rate they can just sit back with a cold one and enjoy the show.

Don't forget that the poll isn't factoring in Diebold or other election shenanigens.

Using CNN polls to prove a point? Must be reaching for straws.

This is just what we want you Demos to do. Sit back, drink a beer and hope you win the election. Don't bother to have a platform, just keep harping on how bad the Repubs are. That's a sure fire way to win an election. Ask Kerry.

Oh, I'm sorry. Perhaps your good ol' boys over at FOX found different results?

Nope!

Yeah, Klod, because Bush is actually running again next time

The Republicans will try to go a new, fresh direction, I think, knowing the trouble they're in. I hope so, anyway, because I want to be able to vote for a Republican again, and I haven't been able to do so...well, ever. The Demos had better be prepared to try and step up for a victory instead of just expecting one. They'd better trot out a better candidate than 'The Corpse' Kerry.

Not saying the Reps WILL be bold and change direction, but the Demos can't just sit back and expect to win either.

Of course they can't sit back, I was obviously (I thought) joking.

I'm just pointing out to those that have been repeating the line that Demos are a dead party and don't stand a chance that maybe they shouldn't be so bold and over confident, it seems the majority don't agree.

I realize Bush won't be running again, but the direction of the Republican party is deeper than him for sure. Perhaps this twist in support will carry to the elections next year.

Good thing the election is still a ways out. You'll need the time to get this kayack to ramming speed.

Are you suggesting the problems of the Republican party are background noise?
