What political slant do you fall under?
Just wondering.

Since Independent thinker wasn;t on there I chose moderate since I guess we can call that middle of the road. I probably lean more towards the Republican side on alot but find the whole political process to be a joke. It is great we can pretend theat our elected officials do things with us in mind when clearly they dont' alot of the times.

Your mindset is exactly what I expect from any responsible American. I don't think any person should always agree with their party.
I'm just glad that I'm on the side that historical, is usually right!

Politically I'm liberal but not in the sense you mean in the poll. Liberal today mostly means socialist which I am not.
I'm personally a conservative person and lean tword the republicans but most all politicians are all out to maintain their own power at all costs.

I put liberal. I'm happy you listed philosophies instead of parties. I hate the 2 party system. Politicians are more interested in representing their parties than representing the people who voted for them. When a bill is being voted on it becomes Democrat vs. Republican and the actual issue is a moot point. Both parties are guilty of this. When one suggests a bill the other will shoot it down, then rush to present their own version of it so they get the credit. It's hard for a truly neutral candidate to be elected president because you have to please your party to make it through the primaries. The gov't was designed so one person coulnd't gain absolute power. So instead they formed gangs to gain collective power. I wouldn't mind having political parties if we had more than 2 strong groups so everything wouldn't always boil down to spitefull bickering.

I put moderate although in all truth I probably fall somewhere between the moderate and the conservative sides. Put simply though, I'm not very knowledgeable on politics, so while I do enjoy reading many of the posts and debates I typically do well by steering clear of them. I tend to get in over my head rather quickly and just make myself look a bit foolish.

facist all the way.
I should say that I do fit MOST of the profile of a facist....my wife thinks I privately attend meetings.
I am not hoping for a superrace or a dictatorship however. I think we are all created equal, I do not hate gays or wish less rights on any particular group.
I am extremely sexist however

It truly is cool to see more fall around the middle of the spectrum, though it would be nice if it leaned more towards the left!
I'm a liberal, but I like to think that I'm openminded enough to not follow the lead of other supposed liberals. If I agree with a conservative, I agree regardless of his slant.

When I was growing up I was a card carrying Republican - Reagan was the man.
Today, I hate pretty much what the Republican party is doing and how they are proceeding. I am more on the liberal side of the coin in most of my views. Economically I still fall on the conservative side - especially since I work in the finance industry.
