Now that The Wall Street Journal is under new management, some are questioning whether it will (still) be trustworthy. I thought it would be interesting to see who reads/watches what to stay informed.
My top three:
The Economist
Foreign Affairs
The New York Times

I only trust Moveon.org. The importance of this website has been conveyed so many times on this board that I'm starting to believe it really is the bible.

Trust no one, read widely, track down original sources when you can, and there's no such thing as being too paranoid.
The best thing I heard recently was that a majority of the US population gets its news from Jon Stewart, Jay Leno, and David Letterman. There is hope.

I honestly don't "trust" any of them... I do listen to or read many, however I will take what I believe are the relavant points and draw my own conclusions...
IMO - most of the TV/Cable News Media are all a bunch of scumbags... This includes the schmucks on CNN, Olberman and Matthews on MSNBC, Hannity & Colmes, ABC, NBC & CBS, etc... Anderson Cooper & Neil Cavuto might be the only ones out of the bunch that I can say I tend to place more credence in versus the rest...
As for print media, The Economist is by far the most authentic and well-versed.
As for the internet category, there isn't one source out there that is entirely trustworthy... not one...
Oh yea... Amy Robach (sp?) from MSNBC is very, very HOT!! I might trust her!!
I like Anderson Cooper too -- mainly because I idolize his ME correspondent John Ware, who has aged a decade in the past year, but who bluntly says what's on his mind regardless who he offends, whether Hizbullah, the US Army command, or any ME government. I respect Michael Totten for clear reporting and unusual ME interviews. I like some of the NPR programs -- they tend to get good interviews and ask rude questions. Some of the Australian and Indian sources are pretty interesting.
Among the worst of the big name media is the BBC. Just as bad as Fox, in the opposite direction. Reuters is completely unreliable, too.

I trust the Economist and BBC World News. I also trust the Enquirer....most of their stories end up being true and they have been sued enough they really have to check their facts.
I also like the McLaughlin Group and the Lehrer News Hour.
I can't stand CNN...hours upon hours devoted to Anna Nicole, Paris and Brittney are not news worthy events.
For entertainment purposes only I like Fox News and E!.
