That's sort of funny.

I did meet a guy once at a poker game that seemed nice enough, he was from England and flew back and forth all the time on business, he had a wife and kid here, the kid was by accident so he did marry the woman and moved here as his base of operations.

He got stopped at Ohare on his way back, questioned for hours, then finally after about a day of this with no food and only water he finally responded yes to the guy when they guy said, you know if you'd like a lawyer you can call one.

At the point he said yeah I guess I'd like one, they stamped his passport designating him a terrorist and he was screwed he can never return here.

I don't know the whole story, he could be one for all I know but I doubt it but once you are on that list you are so toast it's not even funny.
