Trick or Treat!

Looks like USA today is getting into the halloween spirit by retouching Condi's photo to give her a 'demonic' look...

Rice won't rule out U.S. troops in Iraq in 10 years
WASHINGTON (AP) — Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice declined on Wednesday to rule out American forces still being needed in Iraq a decade from now. Senators warned that the Bush administration must play it straight with the public or risk losing public support for the war.

Another example of hate journalism at it's finest.

lol...looks like USA today has responded...

Editor's note: The photo of Condoleezza Rice that originally accompanied this story was altered in a manner that did not meet USA TODAY's editorial standards. The photo has been replaced by a properly adjusted copy. Photos published online are routinely cropped for size and adjusted for brightness and sharpness to optimize their appearance. In this case, after sharpening the photo for clarity, the editor brightened a portion of Rice's face, giving her eyes an unnatural appearance. This resulted in a distortion of the original not in keeping with our editorial standards.

Wow. I don't think I would have noticed if the original hadn't been posted next to it.

I don't think it was done intentionally, but I thought it looked pretty cool, actually.
