Ugh. Republicans: You FAILED. YOU FAILED HARD, in not sending this man up as your candidate for President.

Ron Paul is the ONLY man that I truly believe actually cares for this country and its people as much as any public servant should.

RP as President? Could never see that...

But man is he SO right on SO many issues... I am truly amazed that he has been so sequestered and unable to have a much louder and meaningful voice in American politics... very sad...

I can't speak for anyone else on this board, but, if it had been RP in the GOP seat, I would have voted for him. Even against Obama.

RP says a lot of things I believe in. Some stuff I think is too radical, but it's a big step in the right direction.

That would have been a tough call for me with RP with a slight edge....

He's undermining the empire-building, taxes-spending, wire-tapping, neo-con factions in his own Party that has happened to be the ones in control of it for the past couple of decades. Hence the reason he has been largely marginalized, and declared as a "kook."

Upon further reflection - given all that has transpired and all that is to come, it really is time for someone as quirky and disconnected from the beltway machine...
But, if I write in RP I fear that will only enable what might be the inevitable at this point - electing Obama...

Can someone make a "I heart Ron Paul" smiley? Every time I hear him speak I feel like running through a wall for him.

Because, if he did, I would jerk it off and eat it right in front of him. “Mmm, that’s good Martian,” I would say. - Jack Handey

Consider this my vote for such a smiley.
