These are the REAL issues that should be addessed.

When the common man says this country is going to hell in a handbasket this is what they are talking about.

This article IS the definition of ____ed.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/2572240

"The weak housing market, high gas prices and iffy job market are proving a nasty mix, leaving many Americans stuck with long commutes, unwanted homes and few options"

You can't preach a system and structure to your public, and then hang them out to dry like this.

Have fun discussing this because there is only one way I see this. It is the lack of leadership, knowledge, caring, and respect that our leaders currently have that hang the people that make this country go, even under HORRIBLE circumstances, out to dry.

2nd Amendment - the only way to REAL change.

How is the 2nd Amendment going to produce real change in this arena?

Anarchy? Riots in the streets? Just guessing.

I dunno. I guess I am last person that has had enough of watching this country decay into a listless pile of poop.

Educated, hard working people cannot make enough to get by, and that bothers me.

Yeah, I understand some of it is personal responsibility but when you jack up food and gas AND make it impossible to move cause you can't sell your house AND shrink the job market, futhermore, with no money you can't get more education for a better more modern job, with no extra money you can't invest, gives you little options of what you can do to better your life. THAT is frustrating. It is frustrating to read about, to hear about, to watch friends and family go though (especially when they are good, responsible citizens). It pisses me off. It makes my will to wake up and follow the laws that I DON'T AGREE WITH almost completely dissapear. It effects my work. It effect the decision on bearing children, it effects everything.

Quabbling over special interests, and meanless BS is a waste when basic stuff like food, water, shelter, a job to support yourself, and medical treatment are no longer attainable by the masses it is a sign that someone is not doing there job. Especially, when you can add up the money gained by taxes, tolls, fines, state gambling, and misc. other cash machines and you can't figure out "where all that money goes?" "For what cause is it going towards?" "Whose pockets are they filling?"

Furthermore, I don't think there is a way to fix it. Only rich people have the money to go into politics, and if they are not rich they must find way to get the money to run (and that is usually given to them by rich people who "need a favor"). In my mind the richest 2% are the only ones that can hold an office, and thus they only care about representing the richest 2%.

They stay in office, and get voted in by telling the masses what they want to hear. The masses, who are way to busy working, and trying to raise families and run a ever increasing hectic life are force fed the canidates they must choose. Thus we really are never given an option of who we want in office. We must pick between two people we know little about, and in the end it doesn't matter cause they are saying whatever is needed to be said to get into office.

Once they are in office, what do they care? They just steal, steal, steal, and do what they want regardless of what they said they would do once they got elected. After they have finished their term they got enough money to retire on. What do they care about the society they leave in ruins ? They are rich, and live in closed off millionaire communities where they can live out their days without having to deal with the mess they made.

Thus the cycle goes on and on and on and on and on.

I guess why I quote the 2nd amendment is because it is the end all last ditch effort. It is the only way I could see change happening. I am not saying, at this very hour we need to revolt against the government. But I think that is coming down the line. Maybe not in my lifetime , but in the possible future. Our ancestors revolted over "no taxation over representation" and that in only one of many things that were are currently getting screwed on. It makes you think what those people would think about today. (To be fair they probably would just watch TV like we do but you get the point).

Yet, my real worry is that this country lost its courage, and its love from freedom and liberty. Is there still a line that if it is crossed, then so be it you must forcefully take back the rights that you should have? Or will we roll over and let those who are in power just take everything away from us without a struggle? Will you, or your children keep hope of peaceful change alive as the shackles are squeezed tighter on your wrists? I am not saying at this time things are horrible, but yet everyday another "SCARY MONSTER" comes out that convinces us to give up a littel more freedom, and a little more money, and a little more of rights to feel safe, and to make problems "go away".

If it sounds like maybe I should find some hope with the current situation you are right. Cause right now, if you just do the simple math, we as a nation are either being robbed blind, or being sold to the highest bidder. I have no hope for the future, I see no leadership, or any respect given to this nation by the people in power who should be doing what is best for this country, and not what is best for the worldwide rich and powerful.

I have no beliefs that our system can fix any problems, or bring any real change. I feel the system is broken, and is used more as a cash cow, then for a service to govern the people and make the country successful.

So, if I break it down to a very simple situation it would be this:

If you can't vote someone into power that can make changes for the better then how can you change anything ?

My only answer to that is with force. But even within that, who would lead us, who would know what to do with the remains ?

Call me crazy......which I would not blame you for doing......those do sound like the ramblings of a madman.........I dunno but that is the way I see things right now.........maybe I should just blame sobriety.

You do not have to fire one shot in anger to achieve your goals.

This country taxes your earnings to go, without your earnings it has no money, without the economy it has crapola.

People rioted in Columbia by the hundreds of thousands to say enough is enough stop kidnapping people for money.

People are so caught up in getting theirs that in the end we'll all get our just due which is to be manipulated to death.

All it takes is everyone saying no then it stops.

When does it start? I won't hold my breath. Make sure the A/C and the cable work. Pick up a take out meal. Give me some gas. That is all America wants and/or needs. They don't have the orbs to demand change or say no.

All zipped up in a cocoon.
