When the thread is nothing but insults being hurled at 82 by the so-called "liberal therefore compasionate" crowd on this board what do you expect to happen?
That whole thread was nothing more than trying to pick a fight.
I don't feel I attacked 82, not that I was directly accused, but my whole conversation in that thread was only with him. As with many topics that aren't in line with the current admin's claims, 82 made fun of the topic in the 2nd post of the thread and again in his response to another poster as well where he brushed off anyone who doesn't agree with his politics as crazy with the claim that they suffer from a made up disease. This is by far not the first time this was done. Although a post was made that attacked him and conservatives, I had nothing to do with that nor did I respond to it.
I called him on his part. I tried to be light hearted about it as we have a history of not getting along. I believe both of us have made an effort to except the other and our jabs at one another have declined significantly. Hell..we've even found common ground on a few topics.
My attempt to address 82's post was in no way an attempt to belittle him. If it did, I am sorry. My effort was to suggest that when he makes claims about others "crazy" beliefs or laughs at them rather than discussing the topic, others are laughing at his beliefs too.
So if I had a part in closing that thread or insulting a poster, for that I am sorry. I don't think 82 is claiming to be a victim around here, never heard that from him. He knows he's dished it out every bit as much as he's received it. I respect him for that.
I'll except that my role in that thread was part of its decline, but trying to claim BS that liberals this and liberals that... go cry to your mommy. 82 knows he's played the role of instigator in several threads since he's been here, but for the most part of late it's obvious to me he has made an effort to stick to posting intelligent thought rather than slinging insults a posters way.

It's tough but the best response is to just state your case and largely ignore it, again it's tough but it does no good to try and shout him down, he enjoys getting you riled up.
I don't mind people arguing with me but it's tough when they smirk at you just like a certain someone smirks all the time.
Maybe Bush is a closet Cardinal fan and found this place? nah.

Seriously though - I never claimed I was "ganged up" on or anything of the sort. KloD - LIAC posted material that has been posted, suggested, and regurgitated on this board time and time again. So I post , and that now is "making fun" of someone?? C'mon man... I think we're all above that level of immaturity and sensitivity, aren't we??
