Look, I let a lot of stuff go on this board, but calling someone a racist isn't going to fly.
Agreed , but once again, a decent thread gets killed completely because of a peeing contest between 2 posters. Why not just delete the incriminating posts?
Just a suggestion, but if the personal insults get edited out, it just might stop. Somehow the offender gets satisfaction when the thread is closed rather than just getting ignored.

It's hardly a pissing contest. It's a paranoid obsession. The only reason I take exception to your characterization of events is that I'm not all tangled up with someone trying to come out on top. It's a consistent hit-and-run tactic by the offending poster against me in which I would much rather not be involved.
I agree that it would be nice to have the offending posts deleted so that an otherwise productive debate could continue, but that might impose an increased workload as the mods would have to essentially micro-manage.
