Fresh snow, fresh tracks and no person. Nor was their any way a person could have retraced their steps backwards since the footprints were perfect in the snow. Very strange.
I believe you were encountered a very immature spirit.

Like you or I, spirit's have a level of maturity. Mature spirits go on, and leave this world, while immature spirits can't leave their worldly desires or are trapped here because of grief or some other strong emotion. That's what ghosts/spirits are.

As a dualist (someone who believes in the material and nonmaterial) it makes perfect sense. When we die, our spirits leave the material, for the nonmaterial. Some of us let go and welcome the peace and calmness of the afterlife, while others can't let go.

who knows?

In the old days, people saw angels and devils - now they see aliens, who can play either role.
Bigfoot was a hoax - the guy who did it spilled a few years ago.
The ghost of a dead friend visited me, told me everything was ok, gave me a hug - intense!
....then i woke up - most of these "supernatural" events can easily be shown to be products of the subconcious.
The human mind is still the real unknown - all of this religion crap, UFO's and such are just for folks who want EASY answers...
Anybody know about the Amazing Randi? He's the magician that has exposed many hoaxes - he demonstrates "miracles".
People can mysteriously heal in states of raptue or hysteria, and some Buddhist monks are capable of amazing feats...

Bigfoot is REAL!

Hell, I partied with the guy just a few years ago. His sister is kind of cute...
