The stupidest picture ever in the East Valley Tribune

While I can't find the picture online, on the cover of the East Valley Tribune was the picture of two young men. They were literally nose to nose and looked very close to throwing punches.

The caption read "tensions were high between Bush supporters and detractors"

Both of these kids are moronic in my opinion. There is absolutely no cause to become so contentious over politics. You have a 1000 ways to express your political view points that don't result in physicial intimidation on either side.

If you want to protest Bush's presence...that is your right and let no man try to take it away from you.

If you want to have a big pro-Bush rally...that is also your right and let no man try to take it away from you.

Hopefully these two guys take the true way to expressing yourself politically...and that is to vote. Sadly it is highly possible that while they were willing to fight...they might not be willing to take the half hour to vote.

In Iowa, there were problems with College Republicans storming into Democratic rallies, wavings signs and trying to drown out the speakers with their Bush chants........

Kinda like the brownshirts used to do!

or like the "non violent" peace protests at the start of the war. Intimidation wont work in a country that pro-actively defends itself and has the will to do it..

Please. How many demonstrators have disrupted Bush's speeches/rallies?

The Nazi Party's brown-shirted Sturmabteilung (Stormtroopers) also beat party opponents in the streets, destroyed their opponents' property and committed assassinations. I haven't seen any Republican supporters doing that in this country lately.

Pretty poor analogy.

None - the Secret Service keeps demonstrators far away from the President. If you are carrying a pro-Bush sign, you can get into Bush's view. If you are carrying an anti-Bush sign, you get hustled off to a "free-speech" zone, out fo sight.

Like when Bush went to Atlanta for his fund-raiser/photo-op at the King tomb - they tried to keep protesters away from the King Memorial area, and failing that, they commandeered a bunch of Atlanta City Metro Buses and parked them inbetween the protesters and Bush, but then allowed pro-Bushies to cross the barrier.

If this truely happened, I would assume they would do this so not to take away the attention from whatever ceremony THE PRESIDENT is participating in

Wow how bias are you? lol

When I was in Bosnia and clinton went to germany no family members were allowed with signs against the deployment. No protesters could get anywhere near where he was speaking.

Do you honestly want us to beleive this only occured with Bush?
