Would Abe Lincoln have showed up?

The NAACP surely has some money, but do they really have much influence among people of color? These days? I rather doubt it. Dems have to show up to that event. I'm betting Republicans, knowing they need to attract a certain amount of minority voters, probably consider it not an effective use of their time because that organization just doesn't have much sway anymore. What could they possibly gain there with their message?

That said, the GOP for a short time in the 90s was fascinating when Jack Kemp was helping drive agendas. That's when I felt the GOP was close to being spot-on to their stated philosophy. Ideas like free enterprise zones that created discounted or even tax-free zones in impoverished areas were perhaps a tad extreme, but they were soulful ideas that really captured my imagination as "big tent" solutions. Not surprisingly, Kemp was hugely popular among minorities and was a regular speaker at minority political events.

As it turned out, Kemp ultimately had no stomach for real politics, and the GOP had no stomach for real ideas that might upset their corporate apple cart. Instead of free enterprise solutions, we got social-issue drive Contract on- er, Contract For America. Kemp needed a third party. So do I, really.

Well, the only recognition the Pubs seem to give the people of color is when they toss out their ballots, using caging tactics and forget to count their votes. So , I imagine since their votes don't count, why bother to show up. Ain't that a shame?

Yeah.........um, I think your tinfoil hat is on to tight right now. You might want to loosen it and let some more blood flow to your brain.

Let me suggest a tactic for rebuttal. Facts never hurt an argument.

Personalizing one's views based on your description of what you don't understand does not make you correct. Tinfoil hats ran out of effect long ago. Right about the time, the investgative process did its job. How about forgetting my imaginary tinfoil hat and concentrate on getting your head out of the sand or wherever else it might be imbedded.

If you want to prove to me that the election process was not destroyed, then try something other than name calling. Just a suggestion.

This has always been your logic wally and its wrong. Your making the outlandish claim. You are required to show facts.

Its like me saying a UFO landed in my backyard yesterday. If you call me crazy and I say well show me some facts that it DIDNT happen how in the heck would you do that?

Outlandish claim? I still have a problem watching CSI-Miami with Dade County poping up on the side of a bus or on the side of a building.

There's a medicated cream for that.

No, I'm saying it doesn't happen anymore. This is 2007 not 1907.

You make a ridicoulus statement and then are shocked when you get a ridicoulus rebuttal?

I thought you were better versed in the art of snarkiness than that?

And I think you should be proving that the election process has been destroyed.

My proof that it hasn't, is because the party you're accusing of destroying the election process for their own benifit, just lost the last election.

Let's analyze this. You called me out for basically being a lunatic, unless you have another version of the term " wearer of tinfoil hats ". Ridiculous statements are judged by those without the comprehension to understand the statement. You have only stated that the black vote was not suppressed/stolen/invalidated/ disposed of based on what? The facts are quite clear that they were. People are going to jail because of that. It is fact. Just because Hue doesn't know that, the facts aren't changed.

If your argument is that I am an idiot/ lunatic/uninformed then prove it. Show me the unadulterated poll results that disprove the fix. Denying it didn't happen is good enough for the 30% faction, but not for those who can take the time to read the evidence. I could come back with an armful of evidence proving the elections were stolen, but that would require you to read the research, which to date, you seem to have chosen to ignore. Ignorance is bliss?????

If you can get away with telling me " my tinfoil hat is on too tight " then I should be able to tell you that you are uninformed and illiterate when you come up with your unsupported opinions.

Eagerly awaiting your explanation of why" wearing a tinfoil hat " is not a lame assed insult.

BTW, this lesson in histrionics, wouldn't have come to light, if you hadn't used your insipid little insults to profess an argument.
