The fun starts tonight (Iowa-style)

First primary/caucus of the year - Iowa is tonight.
Four-way race between Dean, Gephardt, Edwards and Kerry. Clark is not campaigning in Iowa.

Dennis Kucinch and Edwards have asked their supporters to back each other if one will not make the 15% threshhold needed to send delegates to the state convention.

Who will win tonight? Edwards is my guess.

Caucases are a very interesting thing. I think what matters is who can get his people to vote- who has the best "ground team" or "ground troops" if you will. In this case, it's clearly between Gephard and Dean. One of them will win, and Dean would be my guess.

Heh, looks like John Kerry is kicking some butt. Edwards is coming in 2nd, with Dean and Gephard in 3rd and 4th.

Wow. I knew Dems were smart enough not to nominate Dean, but I didn't expect he'd get demolished in Iowa.

Gephard might as well drop from the race now. If Dean doesn't win NH, he should drop too.

I agree Stefan (I can't believe... that's twice!! ) . Kerry looks to be a solid VP candidate to run on a Clark ticket. I'd hate to see the democrats throw away the election by making Dean their poster boy. He's too much of a hothead and he's proven over and over again he can't answer a straight question without his writers/advisors present.

Gephardt and the midget should definitely drop out right now. I've watched most of the democratic debates and Gephardt really has no platform and seems like a yes man to me.

It's good to see Kerry win this tonight, he's a good man.

Now that Dean is out, my pick (as a Republican) would be Clark. He'd be the easiest to beat. He really doesn't watch his mouth any more than Dean does.

We'll see what happens in NH. It's gonna be between Clark and Kerry. Edwards should take SC, and there should only be three or four candidates by then.

It will be fun to watch.
