The Lakers? Can D-Dogg’s camp survive another scandal?
February 27, 2007
By KloD
The A.S.F.N. 2008 Presidential campaigning went full swing today.
What began as a whisper over the loss of a valued speech writer quickly grew into a roar as rumors concerning one of the favorites spread. D-Dogg, the leading candidate according to a recent member’s poll, is struggling to explain himself as word rapidly spread that he not only supports The Los Angeles Lakers, but he’s fascinated with Kobe Bryant. Calls to his office and staff have not been returned.
“He’s one of them Laker lovin’ goofballs?” realized one member in disbelief. “Jeez, I always thought he was a stand up fella, guess you never really know anybody.”
Enter Pariah who today announced both his exploratory committee and candidacy. He may have stumbled out of the gate by making the rookie mistake of failing to announce in his own thread, but with the shape of D-Dogg’s camp anything can happen. This election is in full swing and each of the candidates is just waiting to pounce on the others.

I'm extending my advertising contract because I believe in the paper's mission and editorial views. In our society believe advertising dollars are important to the lifeblood of our board's great newspaper.

I'm glad this is such an upstanding paper of journalistic integrity that isn't swayed by advertising dollars and who pays more. dotKen and I both advertise heavily in this paper and I'm sure we will continue to do so.
Journalistic integrity is a principle I hold dear.
