This very issue is why I find it hilarious that anyone thinks corporate media is liberal. All but perhaps the New York Times has thrown money at the GOP to pass laws allowing newspapers to own TV stations and radio stations (and vice versa versa). This deal is no different. Stern is behaving no differently than any corporate media CEO. His conversion to Republicanism is probably similar to his peers, as well.

MSNBC.com identified 143 journalists who made political contributions from 2004 through the start of the 2008 campaign, according to the public records of the Federal Election Commission. Most of the newsroom checkbooks leaned to the left: 125 journalists gave to Democrats and liberal causes. Only 16 gave to Republicans. Two gave to both parties.

EDIT: It might not be the owners who are liberal, but the people who write the articles definetely are.

Agreed.

Stern was funny for me, for about 5 seconds.

He is old and tired. Same schtick every day. And he gets away with it because he is a monring talk show. Any dribble is good to listen to in the morning.

Who wants to listen to a guy do stuff you can't even see, and have it relayed by his distorted eyes. Then listen to a bunch of people call up and kiss his arse for 3 hours.

OF COURSE he is going to vote Republican. He is rich now.
