It came off to me, (and consequently I disagree with you as well) that Dems are lower class... There are more beer drinkers (low class) in the Dem party, leaving the majority of wine drinkers (high class) in the Rep party. If he feels that the Dem party is a bunch of wine drinkers, he wouldn't have said that there are more beer drinkers than wine drinkers in the Dem party.
Either way, he's an asshat.
Man, I don't think you and DCR understand how masterful of a manipulator Rove is. A simple insult like the above is waaaay below him...he works on layers and layers of manipulation.
I don't like the guy one iota, but I respect his brilliance at what he does.

The discussion of drinking habits and class status has got me wondering....What class of people drinks boxed wine? I guess maybe it's in between beer and bottled wine. Lower middle class?

The fact is, I pulled the concept off of Crooks and Liars link and although I've picked up some really good stuff on this site, I found they were really reaching on this one (and I really hate Rove). I was just curious to see what everyone else thought about it before I "tipped my hand" on it.
Seems we all pretty much agree.
