The funny thing is, you guys like to call Christians ... the real Christians not the watered down versions that mix Biblical truth with the world's idea of right and wrong ... intolerant but the truth of the matter is the most intolerant people that have posted in this thread of the King and Ryan ... look at those comments ... pure intolerance.
Sure, the Christian label has been watered down and when someone calls themselves a Christian I do not automatically think they are. I investigate superficially at first and more indepth as we talk. I try to discover what church they go to, how much of the Bible they know, their view of scripture and their concept of what a Christian is ... regardless of the name one wishes to call themsevles their beliefs will tell if they are believers or not ... I have even met people claiming to be born again and then as I investigate deeper realize they have the correct terms but not the correct understanding of them. They simply repeat what they have been told.

Look at your judgment that I and other Christians are gay bashers. Is there ant proof to that judgment? Of course not, but you just like blaming others to justify your hatred.
Only God knows what is in a man's heart and there only God is the unltimate judge. But, only can make the judgmenet if I wish or even can have true fellowship with someone who is simply using the correct terms or actually in a relationship with Jesus.

Jon, please search back in this thread and discover who was the first person to bring it up the subject of homosexuality in this thread ... it was you. As a matter of fact you bring up the subject of homosexuality in most of threads before I do. I made one thread about the city wide Declaration regarding the Biblical view of homosexuality and ended it there. But, of course when ever the subject of true biblical christianty is discussed, you jump right in with the your favourite subject and the phrase gay basher.
Why did you bring it up in this a thread Jon? We weren't discussing it yet you decided to bring it up here as you do in almost every thread that homosexuality is mentioned. You are the one who is always dragging it into threads that aren't even about the subject and this thread is the perfect piece of evidence of that ... the first mention of homosexuality is just on the last page ... by you.

Jon, I have never put homosexuals down as 2nd class citizens. You and every oyther reader of these post knows that. I simply and clearly state what the Bible says about the act of homoseuxlity ... that is is just like heterosexual non-marital sex ... that is is a sin.
I have clearly stated time and time again that the sin of homosexuality is no worse then the sin of stealing or many other sins. I have clearly stated that my sin of over-eating is no worse then the sin of homosexuality. Yet, the only thing you concentrate on is what I say about homosexuality and make those caynon leaps of assumptions. The funny thing about it, it is not even what I say but what God has clearly said in His Word, the Bible.
You on the other hand have taken every opportunity to be abusive and insulting to me always calling me a gay-basher whenever the talk of true Christianity is discussed (and that's how you normally introduce the subject into most of the threads that don't deal with hoimosexuality into play).
If there is anyone who is a basher of people in here, Jon ... it is you.

Tony - yet you and the rest of your radical fundamentalists don't show up at city council meetings demanding that they can continue to descriminate against obese people.
There are not sermons preached weekly decrying the dangers of obesity to our society.
You do not see extreme fundamentalist groups like Focus on the Family and American Family Council or Concerned Women of American say one word about obesity, but they spout volumes of hate aobut gays and the "dangers" of allowing gays to have a role in society.
Your sect's gay bashing (because that is what it is, whether or not you want to admit it or not) is the cause of taunts, beatings, deaths, suicides and discrimination against gays. You are all evil, IMHO, and God will judge you harshly.
... and having known from an early age that she had those "tendencies", i'm quite put off by bible thumpers saying my relative is a "sinner" for being what they were born to be.
I like the "christians" that accept everyone, and say things like ""god" doesn't make mistakes, "he" loves everyone"
