Rumsfield orders inquiry into sexual asssults in Iraq
Seems the amount of sexual assult and rapes commited by fellow American servicemen against serviceWOMEN is running rampant.
Atleast 37 female service members had sought counseling for sexual trauma and other assistance from civilian rape crisis organizations after returning from duty in Iraq, Kuwait and other overseas stations.

Unfortunately this is nothing more then a reflection of our society. There are 130,000 troops in Iraq atm. The average rate of rape in this country is 30 per 100,000 people.
Also another thing to consider is that like Desert Shield/Storm troops were ordered not to engage in sex even consentual. What happened was when some were caught the women cried rape. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that to downplay the incidents because they should, and will, all be investigated and if the accusations are correct then they will hammer the soldier, sailor, airman or marine responsible.
I am saying it to put that number in perspective. I fully believe after the investigations that number will probably be 1/3rd of what it is now. Unfortunately even 1 rape is to many and we as a society need to figure out how to stop it. Right now, sadly, even with the incredible discipline of our troops some are not able to overcome criminal behaviour.
Kingocards, as much as many of us enjoy disagreeing with Stef, you are way over the line. We don't need any more of your pathetic personal attack posts on this board.
BTW, if you really knew anything about America, you would keep your mouth shut and not be insulting people about being foreigners etc. Our Country is made up of people migrating here for a better life, that's part of what makes this a great and strong Country. So I, for one, am glad that Stef is here, even with some of his disagreeable opinions. My great great grandparents came over for from Europe, and I'm thankful they did. It's just too bad they, and Stef, have to put up with ignorant people like you who sound like they fell off the back of pick up truck on the way to the next Klan meeting.

Well unfortunately I am the moderator for this forum. I have asked you nicely to stop with the insults. Since you refuse to do this I will be forced to ban you for the period of 1 week or until Mike and Skkorp take away the ban.
