How about the new administration reads the charters of these agencies, determine who has and how they strayed, pinpoint the thieves, invoke the sanctions, send them to rot in Hell jail, give them one year to do a 180, before dismantling. BTW, they might try stripping the alterations to the charters, that were made by these agency manipulators, and invoking back dated sanctions. If after 2 years, theses agencies don't serve the people, chuck 'em into the briar patch. Palin and simple...prove your worth or sayanora.

This whole thing is actually really simple.

If Bush is for it, it cannot be good.

When those two start agreeing, America should take serious note.

This whole mess has people confused, scared and throwing blame in a thousand directions.

I understand that but don't do that, focus on the obvious, increased power to your government to payoff certain industries.

This bill was an outrage that people literally raised heck over with their Congresspersons, but still it passed.

It passed out of fear, fear is never never NEVER a good form of government.
I totally agree... I don't agree with all of RP's ideas but he seems to truely worry about the state of this country and not his BFF's!!!

It is the whole reason why I'm want to write his name in on my ballot. I don't care if some think it is a wasted vote. Obama and McCain will not change the economic state of our nation.

It's multiple things and no one is free from blame IMO:
  1. Lending money to unqualified people
  2. A completely unnecessary War with Iraq
  3. Deregulation
  4. Adjustable Rate Mortgages and Uneducated Borrowers
  5. Relying too much on Credit
Obviously there are more but I believe those are the biggest ones.

Wow, it looks like we were all wrong. The bailout is obviously working and paying off. Just look at what happened on Wall St. today!

Dow plunges 679 to fall to lowest level in 5 years

RP and his supporters are not anarchists. Talk about hyperbole.

RP is for limiting the federal government's power. That's not to say he's endorsing ideas without government or laws.
