Question for P&R folks...or anyone really.

who would you like to see in the Supreme Court?

(besides john roberts)

The question is not intended as a prediction...but if you had the power to appoint - who would you like to take open seat?

i like michael luttig. he's a young (for the court), solid conservative, and he's buddies with john roberts, which i think would improve the candor between justices. they could have frank discussions on each others viewpoints.

I like her for the same reason the left-liberals don't. She see the role of the Federal government as extremely limited by the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. I don't think the conservatives would nominate her. She is too liberal (libertarian) for them.

That and I would like to see her nominated because it would really piss off Ted Kennedy.

Can you elaborate on that? I would like to know the backstory

He views her as an "extreme conservative" activist because she votes to limit the power of the government.

Here is his statement on her being nominated to the DC circuit court.

I'm way better than Djaughe. I'd like that job because it's fun to judge people.

Wow!

He lists off a bunch of African American groups who do not support her.

That's really interesting...
