Wow! Amazing how many people on here side for Geraldo. The guy was in the country illegaly. Was driving drunk previously putting citizens of this country in undo harm when he has zero right to be here. He most certainly SHOULD have been deported after the first one.
Our laws regarding immigration are entirely to weak!

Yes illegals should be deported and yes most defiantly drunk drivers should be prosecutes. However, tying the them together using this example is nothing more than feeding the bigotry that is alive and well in this country.

Never said he was. I agree with geraldo that Drunk Drivers come in all nationalities. However if this country did its job the first time he was arrested it is likely we wouldnt have this tragedy today. There is no bigotry in that Ian.

My position is that we should open the border, require fingerprinting and IDs to enter, and put in a MEXICAN prison anyone who tries to cross without them. So, I guess on the immigration issue, I'm pretty liberal.
That said, O'Reilly was right that the guy should've been deported after the first DWI.

That's true obviously but folks like O'Reilly are using it to fan the flames of their anti immigrant bigotry.
