The determining factor for me is security--it's weighted more in my mind than on the AOL poll. I think we need to be proactive in squelching threats, and I don't think Kerry will do an adequate job on that front. (obviously JMHO).

Sorry Jon but what a stupid poll. Well maybe not stupid just biased.

Those questions were framed to assume I support the programs in the first place or that I think the President should even be involved in these questions.

The questions about Social Security for exmple. Questions about raising the age or capping benefits for the elderly? Where is the choice for opposing the Social Security scam completely? Then the questions about appointing judges that will outlaw abortions. Where is the choice that judges shouldn't be making abortions illegal or legal to begin with? How about legislatures making things legal or illegal like our system is supposed to work?

As a result I had to choose "no opinion" on most because there really is no choice in those questions, I disagreed with both directions.

The final tally for me.

Bush 46%
Kerry 29%

Proof the poll is biased!!!!

If you answer No Opinion to all the questions both candidates show 0% but Kerry is listed 1 and Bush is 2. It is biased to Kerry!!!!

Yes, there are questions that I would choose another alternative, however, I think it matches reality of today's political environment.

Yes the reality that we have no real choice, we get the privlidge of choosing between two candidates that are basically for the same thing.
