My first impression of those guys is that they'd have a hard time blowing up a balloon, much less a building. But, I probably would've thought something similar about the 9/11 guys had I seen their photos if they had been arrested before their plot was put in motion.

..ummm they resided in Liberty City. No one lives there by choice. Think of the worst ghetto environment you have ever seen. That is Liberty City. Not a lot of mensa candidates running around that neighborhood. Crack dealers, carjackers, homeless vagrants, hookers , but no international terrorist candidates. These guys can't plot there way out of Liberty City/Brownsville. How in Hell were they going to make it to Chicago and build a bomb?

It's funny how Michelle Malkin and the folks on FOX who are spewing the word "treason" are whining about the media releasing this information to the public.
They have said it was a secret government program. Maybe I'm crazy, but if it's a secret government program, wouldn't someone in the government have had to release this information to the media?

But, I can't help but think the same type of comments could have been said of Timothy McVeigh when he was living in a trailer park in Kingman, AZ, and devising his plot to blow up a federal courthouse.

It wasn't intended to be amusing. I have been to Liberty City more than a few times. It is a shortcut to the Orange Bowl. These dudes were Haitian immigrants, with about $3 between them. Sitting on a porch talking crap. Dupes.
