PUTRAJAYA, Malaysia (Reuters) -- Iranian President Mohammad Khatami said on Friday his country has no plans to build nuclear weapons and pledged to cooperate with nuclear inspectors.
He said Iran did not rule out signing the Additional Protocol of the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) on snap inspections but insisted that his country's rights should be respected.
"We have no intention to build nuclear weapons," Khatami told reporters on the last day of a two-day summit of Islamic leaders in Malaysia.
"We continue to cooperate with the agency," he said, referring to the International Atomic Energy Agency.

If you are going to blame anyone for 9/11 - blame Reagan. He armed and trained most of the leadership of Al-Queda in the first place. Reagan is the one who ran from Lebanon.
