Well good for you, you craven piece of elephant ****. You've got yourself an excellent bullet point for your next eval. You, and those whom you were charged with supervising- wait, did anyone ever tell you that maintaning discipline and standards of conduct is your main charge as an NCO? Did this piece of training slip through the cracks as well? You know, I wear the same uniform. I'm an NCO as well. Not only have you disgraced yourself, your unit, your country and humanity, your actions have disgraced me and everyone else who wears that uniform. Your stupidity, ignorance, and cruelty have stained all of us, because of that uniform we all wear. It's the binding tie that connects not only all of us serving today, but everyone who has ever served and those who will serve in the future. That uniform is stained with the noble blood of those who've fallen in battle for their country, but you have smeared that uniform -my uniform!- with the excrement of malevolent barbarism.
Remember that these atrocities were committed in your name when you go to the ballot box in November.

BTW: Those of you who have served in uniform, this seems to be the appropriate response to poor performance by those in the military, instead of knee-jerk defensiveness.
CAUTION: These photos are horrific and depict serious war crimes committed by U.S. Troops.
I heared on the radio that the general and her staff were requesting assistance on how to interrogate prisoners and they recieved no help. For the life of me I can't see how a sane person would devise these methods as a form of intelligence gathering.
General Karpinski also said she believed military commanders were trying to shift the blame for the abuses from military intelligence officers in Iraq to the reservists. Give me a break!

Exactly! This general earned her rank during the clinton administration and the rest have served in the military for more than 4 years.
kerouac, what could this possibly have to do with whom you vote for for president? A dozen people out of 200,000 are bad eggs and your going to lay that at Bush's feet? What if these people joined the service during Clinton's adminstration? Would that then make him responsible.
You are really reaching here.

War crimes? Let's not go overboard. Those who did this should dishonorably discharged and face probation, perhaps a little jail time, but to go before the UN as a war crimes trial? Please, students at many college campuses go through worse stuff than this just to get into a fraternity or get "initiated" onto a sports team.

Dude, talk about kneejerk reaction..."war crimes"???? When I think war crimes I think genocide, milosovic, Hitler, etc. Sure these soldiers should be punished SEVERLY but lets not start tossing terms like "War Crimes" out there....nobody was killed or severely wounded.

While I couldn't compare this with genocide or anything close to that, it is still a war crime. Crime is crime.
It's not a crime that the should result in executions or anything close to that, but the offenders should be punished, and their careers in the military cut short.
