This is a complete outrage as it applies to how our democracy is supposed to work:

Luckily, the House wound up approving the Amendment:

This is what I wrote to Adam Putnam of Florida:
You, sir, should be ashamed of yourself for trying to subvert our democratic process as it applies to the voice vote regarding United Airlines pension amendment. It was crystal clear that the yes vote should have won.
The yes voices were very clear and were irrefutably reflecting the majority of people in the room. Yet, you shot down the amendment when you fraudulently awarded the vote to the nay sayers despite the obvious fact that it sounded like only a handful of the voters indicated, No."
This is a clear violation of the vote and seriously undermines the credibility of our democratic process.
I can assure you that--if--you ever run for national public office that I will urge as many voters as I possibly can to not even consider you as a viable candidate.
You have a responsibility to abide by rules and not subvert the process or the constitution to fulfill your own personal agenda.
Instead of siding with the American people you have chosen to absolve United Airlines from their responsibilities while sticking the taxpayers with the bill.
I think you need to take a long look in the mirror and realize the face you see is supposed to represent public service and not self-service.
