Michael Moore Planning Fahrenheit 9/11½

Michael Moore tells Variety he met with Harvey Weinstein and they plan to start working now on Fahrenheit 9/11½. "We want to get cameras rolling now and have it ready in two-three years," Moore told columnist Army Archerd.

"We want to document and commercialize it," added Moore, "Fifty-one percent of the American people lacked information (in this election) and we want to educate and enlighten them. They weren't told the truth. We're communicators and it's up to us to start doing it now. The official mourning period is over today and there is a silver lining -- George W. Bush is prohibited by law from running again."

The issues (for the next film) have not changed because of the election. "They are Iraq and terrorism." Moore will also continue preparing his other film, Sicko, on the national health care industry.

Moore says he and Weinstein are going ahead on the Oscar campaign for Fahrenheit 9/11 in the Best Picture category and other categories.

No 51% were uneducated but 3% of those made the right choice and 48% made the left choice

Totally random, so what inappropriate thought of the day: Having just seen "The Lion King 1 1/2", my first thought at seeing the title was "What, we are going to have Puumba and Timon narrate?

Yeah...9/11 1/2 is kinda a weak title...maybe he should consider something like "9/11 RELOADED"

Not really excited about another Fahrenheit, but I'm definitely looking forward to SICKO.

Because the guy is a misleading, insulting twirp who preys upon the beliefs of people to make a quick buck. I refer to such non-hackers as oxygen thieves.

He doesn't just think different than others though..he's condecending in the way he does it... I think a better idea for one of his "documentaries" as he calls them is to show what Bush has done wrong and right. At the end he can say the wrong has outweight the right but he is so onesided it's hard to take him seriously...
