Libby Trial jury is out. Decision is in.
Of course the announcement is being dragged out.
Cue up the drum roll.
Still waiting.

I bet he's found guilty of one of the charges (specifically as to Matt Cooper)--lying to the grand jury about covering up something that wasn't a crime. This really has been a waste. W and the administration should take a big political hit for this, but this was never a crime and Fitzgerald should have abandoned this investigation 2 seconds after he read the Intelligence Identities Protection Act.

Guilty on 4 of 5 counts. He'll probably do 6 months.

Guilty on 4 of 5 counts for "Obstruction of Justice". Jail time.

If the decision is in, doesn't that mean the jury is no longer out?

My faux pas. What would have been the correct phrasing?
How about , the jury has come to a conclusion? In/out, who gives doo doo, he is going to meet some new roomies.

With appeals and time extensions, he should stay out just long enought for Bush to pardon him when he leaves office. What a waste of time and money.

I don't think it is important that he serve " any time" as 40 has theorized. The importance is that the "obstruction" was exposed and this Admin could feel the ripple effects for a long time. Even lead to further investigation and/or charges against others. A jury deliberated and found guilt of real crimes. I won't demean their conclusions as a waste of time and money. I am quite assued there will be much debate and info available in the near future.
The " experts " have already stated " this is not good for the White House ".
BTW, this will not hurt the Wilson's Civil suit.
