Pretty sad when a baseball player hitting a sausage mascot... takes frontstage over our troops being snipered in Iraq.

The media, attention span, and fascination over the most irrelevant things amazes me.

I'm getting pissed as hell hearing about the ambushes taking place in Iraq. But, what can you do??

Instead of hearing about how were closing in on Saddam and Bin Laden... I wish we'd finally nail those bastards. It would do wonders for our troops morale (which has got to be sagging big-time).

The American military has beefed up the budget to figure out how to make a "bunker buster" nucular bomb. The shear speed the bomb would have to travel to go deep enough so no nucular fall out would escape would be tremendous.

No nuclear fallout? Don't believe the hype. The thought of tactical nuclear weapons makes me ill - would open a pandora's box that we don't want to do. Any talk of using nuclear weapons is extremely irresponsible.


And we do need to keep our troops in our thoughts. We just buried the first Tennessee National Guardsman to die in the war, killed last week by a sniper. He left behind a wife, grown children and grandchildren.
