CONDOLEEZA RICE: Before she was National Security Advisor, Condoleeza Rice was a provost and a professor at Stanford University. She has said before that she'd like to be commissioner of the NFL.

It still stuns me that she wasn't fired or at least invited to resign a few months later.

It's already well underway. Since Keyes has been such an embarrassment in Illinois, Obama has been raising money and stumping for other Democrats around the country.
He'll run in 2012, is what I bet. I think he'll look to land a governorship before running for the Presidency. If Kerry gets elected, he'll be the first Senator to make the office since Kennedy.
