I see these numbers thrown around, but I don't see them supported. My wife belongs to some womens group and she sponsors an Iraqi woman. At 19 she is a mother and a widow. She lost several members of her family to plane bombing raids. She cannot go to school as there isn't one for her to attend. She gets electricity an average of 1 hour a day. We have just recieved the first letter from her so we plan to ask for further details.
I'm not going to say the claims made in the video are false, as the same time I don't believe them. I don't see what is being claimed.

And yet he makes NO mention of the upswing in violence against Iraqi civilians. The fact that Iraqis live in fear on a daily basis, much worse than when they lived under Saddam.
He makes NO mention that the Iraqi Security forces can't stop the violence in their own country and that some of their weapons end up in the hands of insurgents.
NO soldier I've ever talked too thinks that things are going well in Iraq. It's just not the truth. My wife's cousin just arrived in Baghdad and his first day their was welcomed by an extensive mortar attack.
The fact is, the Republican Neocon apologists try to spin everything in Iraq as positive, and they simply ignore the negatives. Iraqis have LESS electricity than before the invasion. Tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of their countrymen have died. They live in constant fear of their lives ending due to mortars, rockets, IEDs, kidnappings, extortion, etc.
It's time to pullout soon folks. Our involvement in Iraq is making things worse for the people. We need to STILL provide monetary support (which sucks still BTW) but troop support is reaching the point that it is no longer helping.

Wait a minute Krang. Why do they have less electricity? Who is killing these people? Do you truly believe there are no positives in Iraq?
Quit thinking with your political hat for a moment and watch this clip again. It's touting all the good our troops have done since arriving there. There are positives and a lot of the country is not having the problems they are having in Baghdad. Regardless of what you think of leadership, the men on the ground are doing their jobs and not getting credit for it. It's time someone pointed that out and they get the credit they deserve.

You cannot expect anyone to take Beck's word, please. If anyone had posted anything from a source as bias and unqualified as Beck, you would be first to call it BS.

This is sad. Kofi Annan thinks that Iraqis were better off with Saddam Hussein in power.
"I think they are right in the sense of the average Iraqi's life," Annan said. "If I were an average Iraqi obviously I would make the same comparison, that they had a dictator who was brutal but they had their streets, they could go out, their kids could go to school and come back home without a mother or father worrying, 'Am I going to see my child again?"

How is that sad? It's more true than not and it is only sad in the sense that we went there under false pretenses and made their lives worse than it was under a dictator....

Again, what does that have to do with the topic at hand?

DEI, I've seen you personally blast this guy and now you want to use him to back up your point. I wouldn't consider him a legimate person to take an opinion from.
