I think Kerry runs away with this election

I think the polls are way off and Kerry wins in a landslide...shades of Reagan/Carter in 1980.

Moveon.org and others are making a huge push this weekend---that combined with the record number of newly registered voters, most of whom are under 30 spells trouble for bush.

I hope I'm wrong, but my gut tells me I'm not.

And the reason he wins is because it is so hard to beat an incumbent.

I actually feel its the other way around. We will know for sure in less 72 hours.

What makes you think that the surge in voters under 30 is a democratic surge overall? I have seen stories that say young conservatives have been lining up to register too.

I hope you're right. If we have to sit through another two weeks of watching people in a conference room holding ballots up to the light to try and determine who that person intended to vote for, I'll die of a heart attack.

Just out of curiousity, is anyone in your home a registered Dem? I'm wondering why they are hitting your home, or is it everyone in your neighborhood?

I think President Bush wins a slim margin in the Electoral College.

Popular vote could go either way.

...

I voted on Friday.
It was a zoo - madness - had to fill out a little form and return 2 hrs later for my ballot.
Indeed- a lot of young people are Republicans - we'll see if the anger of the stolen election of 2000 will translate into young lefties actually voting....

Will it make a difference in Arizona? I think Arizona will wind up being closer than the polls show, but Bush still wins the state.

Yes, my wife is a dem. But, they're hitting everybody. In fact, my wife went out and canvases a few neighborhoods with moveon this weekend, too.

Anyway, I know my doorstep is a very small slice of america, but from what I see from that perch leads me to believe it'll be a landslide.
