These M-Fers just voted to lift the ban on offshore drilling on all coasts!!!! And will do it as close as 50miles from shore...They argue this is a path towards energy independence...What a freaking joke...

The path there is to get of oil, not drill for more in ecologically sensative and vital areas.

The Senate better get their stuff together and kill this.

I hate this congress with a passion, I hope they all get whats coming to them!

I wish the environmentalists would get their stuff together... everytime they reduce the drilling off the so cal coast the oil pockets begin to naturally seap again... The beaches go back to all those little globs of oil... you go to the beach and come home with black feet...

I heard that China is/has struck a deal with Cuba to begin drilling in the Gulf. China will be sucking dry the oil right underneath our continent. I say that oil belongs to us and we should take it.

Yeah,it's our oil and we will take it.What is the we stuff?The oil co. will take it and sell it on the open market.They will not sell us our oil at a cheaper price,in fact we will never know where our oil is sold.

Our oil is not a big seller on the open market... Especially the pacific coast drilled oil... super high in tar content and takes many more passes in the refining process. The ME oil is of fairly high quality and takes much less refining... South American oil primarily Argentina is the top of the top... As close to the refined oil as a raw product can be...
