Lots of anti-us and anti-war threads. Seems the article on the letter we intercepted between al-queda leaders on how their morale was low and getting their butts whooped was never posted here by krepitch or suttill or anyone. Nor an article on the #3 man being arrested in pakistan.

To answer your first question, I dont feel the need to come to the defense of common sense and all the good things that are happening like others feel the need to paint the picture that nothing good is happening.
I just wanted to point out the slant that this board has taken. Which in my own personal opinion is a very sad one.

Anti-bush yes, but please do not confuse being Anti-Bush with being Anti-US - those are two far different things.
A lot of what is posted isnt anti-bush. Maybe anti-us is not the correct phrase either although it sits best with me. anti-us-policy hits the nail on the head for sensitive people though.
Its one thing to be anti-us-policy another to do everything in your power to paint a doom and gloom picture and never show or talk about the good things either.
My one pet peeve with people on the "right" or "left" is that it never crosses their mind for 1 second to take a look at what the other side does right.

Jon, you've got to admit the two have morphed from time-to-time (though not on this board that I've seen)--Michael Moore openly hoping for the success of Iraqi insurgents was to me clearly anti-American, given those insurgents were trying their best to kill U.S. soldiers at the time.

What was the context of that quote? Are you sure he's not just predicting an outcome which might not necessarily be his personal desired result?

And Im not picking on you but your one of the only extreme lefties to answer this thread, and I thank you for that, but what if the only way that thye ALL return home safetly is to decalse defeat to al-queda and return home tomorrow. How would you feel about that?
