How many on this site have served in Iraq?

Just curious. I was there in March 2003 right when the whole thing started. And I'm wondering how many of you have been over there and actually know what it's like?

I'll give you my opinion. It sucks. But the people are actually very warm and hospitable, at least the ones I met were.

I was in the Navy. I was a Tomahawker. Put 31 of those bad boys into Iraq.

I was also on the VBSS team. (Vertical Board Search and Seizure) Met quite a few Iraqi's while searching their boats. Only had to hog tie a few of them.

I never once saw a red X in a small white box over there. So I'd say it's far from accurate.
