Villa Lobos Mexican Vodka is produced by Licores Veracruz Distillers in Cordoba, close to the infamous Caribbean port of Veracruz, notorious for its pirates and fortress prison, La Fortaleza de St. Ulua. Absolute is a Swedish company, the only people crying (whining) is some puckered up ignorant Americans. How on earth does it make "our friends south of the border seem like whiners....."??? They didn't make the ad and they aren't the ones with their panties in a bunch.

And, yes, before anyone gets their panties in a bunch, I do understand that there is no comparison whatsoever between the Nazis of 1942 and 1800's Mexico.
But if Absolut is going to play to whatever group is thinking wistfully of what "might have been", the above satire is right on point.
