Did anyone watch this.

Now as a man who would love to believe in a savior but always find doubt or unexplained hypothesis in most religious statements or writings I came to this conclusion of the show.

it seems to me that if jesus were alive to day he would be a communist. Now today communist is a bad word but the original theory behind it is actually a good one, it just can never be executed properly by man. Even Plato thought a "communist" society was the best man could do. It basically means that everyone would be equal. there would be no classes. Which jesus preached 9or so says the show).

It talked about how jesus and his father visited these cities were clerics and priests walked on bridges above the people because they were better than the unclean people. other such things occured to make the priests far above the normal person.

So If I put myself in jesus's place with the beliefs that he had (no classes, everyone equal..etc) i too would hatch a plan to teach that everyone SHOULD be equal and you should love everyone, your friends and your enemies. And in a day where people only really listened to and obeyed were religious people it would only be logical that he was use some sort of religious belief to get himself heard. He undoubtedly knew the prophecies and in knowing that used that to his advantage.

I find it short sighted to think that a man in the last 6000 years WOULDNT think of a plan like this.

In the show it stated that he was the was the only "prophet" not to use violence. Imagine if Ghandi (sp?) was alive then and used the same tactics in the middle east in jesus time period......

Anyway, just what I got from the show. It was rather good. And I still maintain that I would love it if the bible was 100% true. Id be first in line for the jesus parade. Anyone else see it?
