Change Party affiliation
As of last week, I have officially changed my party affiliation to "independent". Mostly based on the tactics and views of certain posters on this board. Both negatively and positively

What was your former party affiliation?

Wow that's weird. I was a democrat and because of the posters on this board I am now a card carrying republican.
The power the posters have on these boards is outstanding.

I think voters in Arizona can now vote in primary elections for one party or another simply by requesting that particular ballot when voting in the primary elections. That, of course, was the primary reason in the past that a vast majority of voters identified themselves with a particular party.

My parents consider themselves Republicans, but I just don't agree with the views of the party anymore. The influence of religion, the views on immigration, the renunciation of homosexuals. Just isn't my cup of tea anymore.

If that's what is important to you then it is best you did change.
Tell me, what is the Republican line on homosexuals? I never heard any republican speak against them.

Why? Is he a republican homo? No, he is a Green Party straight guy. You should be able to give an answer since you stated this was one of the reasons for your change. Why defer to someone else to explain what you did?
