There is no accounting for taste. It doesn't matter who you are a fan of and who you are not. As a christian I am not a fan of every preacher ... that doesn't mean what they say isnt right.

Just because someone is a preacher doesn't mean they know anything. Look at 'Rev' Phelps and his "Godhatesfags.com'.
Or one of my roommates' dad - Baptist Preacher, yet he beat his kids (cracking ribs, etc).

Exactly.

And many of the nondenominational preachers have little to no training (i.e. seminary).

Very true. Chad's dad has only a GED, and no seminary training.

Personally, If I were to go to church, I wouldn't choose a church that had a pastor that was less educated than myself.

Does this apply to all religions for you?

You seem to just single out Christianity. What about Buddahism, Islam, Hinduism, etc.?! Shouldn't all religious leaders be held to the same standard?!

Somewhat, I suppose.

Lets say I decided to become a buddhist. If I were to choose a temple, I'd choose a temple with learned monks. The same can be applied for Hinduism. The Eastern faiths are more about mediatating than anything else.

Islam, Christianity, and Judism are all very legalistic religions that require a lot of "book worK". Each of these faiths require a good "guiding hand" to understand some of the scripture, and to use it in the right context.

As true as that is, Rush does have the political truth and communicates it very well.

If you want to believe everything he says, go ahead - but just remember, he is wrong more than he is right.

Strong Bad doesn't care about the truth, he only cares about what he wants to hear.
