Arrest Warrants issued for CIA Agents

ROME Dec 23, 2005 — An Italian judge has issued European arrest warrants for 22 purported CIA operatives wanted for the alleged kidnapping of an Egyptian cleric, a prosecutor said Friday.
Prosecutor Armando Spataro said the warrants allowed for the arrest of the suspects in any of the 25 European Union member countries. Italy issued warrants for the arrest of the 22 suspects within its own borders earlier this month.

Prosecutors are seeking the suspects' extradition for their alleged involvement in the abduction of Osama Moustafa Hassan Nasr from a Milan street in February 2003.

Nice of the Italian Gov. to at least get a warrant before arresting our citizens.

AZ, they had to issue warrants because the guys aren't in their country. The only way the Italians will get their hands on them is if they return to Italy.

I know, just trying to be funny.

Had lunch with a guy today that knows someone who was in the CIA. Says if they get caught doing something wrong, they are told the gov. will basically disown them, deny knowing the person etc. They also encourage them to buy some special insurance just in case they get caught and disowned by their gov. employer. Pretty wild.

I can testify to that. I also had a friend who worked for the CIA and they abandoned him in a Columbia jail. Thanks to some well placed bribes from his friends, we were able to secure his release.

He sued the CIA and won like $50,000.00. He is a pilot and during his suit, the majority of us refused to fly in a plane with him. The CIA is a nasty organization.
