Willing to pay for shipping and sir charge.....

OMG, I can't believe I'm responding to this request, but I THINK I have one! I know exactly what you are talking about. It was Skippy peanut butter, if I remember correctly. I'm on my way out the door, but I'll check when I get back and if I do, I'll snap a pic of it and post it to make sure it's the same one.

YES TO BOTH... Please I hope that you have it!!!!
But I think that the one from the 80's is a little bigger than the one in the 60's.. But if someone has one from the 60's I probably still buy it...
It is for a gift for my wife...
Here is the lame story... She had a bad childhood (hence the reason she does social work now) and one day a man stole her bear skippy peanut butter jar full of quaters because he needed "gas" money. She figures it was to buy drugs but doesn't know. Her mother was dating the guy at the time so I just heard this story and thought that I would buy one and fill it up of quaters for her....

You are going to love me! I looked in my cupboard and there it sat, with the original lid and all! It was holding containers of tic tacs is all. I even tried to sell it at a yard sale once ages ago, it didn't sell, so I brought it back in.
I've attached a pic of the exact one I have. It's the kind from the 80's. My mom saved it when I was a kid, then when I moved out, I "adopted" it, aka, I put it in my boxes when mom wasn't looking! She's never missed it. Anyhow, pm me with the address to send it! No, I'm not going to ask you to pay ANYTHING, not even shipping! That's such a sweet story about your wife, she deserves this jar!!!

CQ, I will PM you today but I HAVE to pay for shipping to the UK... That would be too much to ask of you so please let me pay... If you say NO, I guess that there is always a mandatory RETURN ADDRESS on it so I can send a thank you card and such...
Thanks again, that is the nicest thing possible and my wife is going to cry when she sees it...
Thanks guys...
James
