What a pain, I hate it when stuff doesn't work. This is one of the reasons I buy everything from costco. If it breaks or I change my mind, it takes about 30 seconds to return it.

Good luck man.

Well, I just thought I'd followup on this thread and let you know that two days ago, the UPS man delivered my TV. Not sure if it is brand new, may be a refurb because it didn't have the screen protector on in out of the box.

I actually didn't ship it to them until about 3 weeks ago, and had to send about 5 emails before it was shipped back. They never even sent me shipping info, it just showed up.

BTW, I had to pay $220 to ship the broken one back to them, which is why I waited so long to do so.

Well, I'm glad you at least got it replaced. Sucks that it was so much effort and expense though. Hope the new TV works out for ya Don.

I don't by any electronics without a warranty that allows me to exchange from the place I purchased. It is so worth it. I refuse to go through the manufacturer. It's not just TV's either. I have experienced similar stories from other types of electronics.

Any ideas? I already tried using my power cable from my laser printer, which fits, thinking the power cable went out but is not working.

Has anyone else experienced any issues with an LCD TV?

Oh well, I guess I'll have to call tomorrow
I think you should buy one of these
