I really wish I knew what all that stuff meant.

So, I'm going to go with Mike and Ryan and say "nice!"

Question. The computer has 512MB of 333mhz SDRAM...and I have a stick of DDR333MB RAM. Would this fit into my notebook?

No it won't

The type in your desktop is a different form.

Notebooks take 144 pin SODIMM

BTW
looks pretty nice.

The refurbished Dells are a good deal IMO. I am using one right now. It looked just like a new one when I got it except for the red refurbished sticker on the bottom.

Laptop memory and workstation memory are different. That DDR Ram you have is most likely for a desktop, laptops use DIMM. If you have ever seen Laptop memory before it is about the same length as your pinky finger and much more expensive
