I got it last year and already it was too late.
Last year, I got tons of outages, but so far this year, completely reliable.
Big fan!

Well, anything is better than Sprint. It was a microwave signal over to south Mountain, which was cool at first, but suddenly you realize the upload is slower than crap.
And the worst thing about it is that the frequencies revolve, so when you're downloading something, you get lag when your dish switches frequencies.
That caused major pain when gaming, i was always causing lag.

Yes, I giggled like a school boy for like 2 weeks when Cox was available in my area. It is amazingly fast.
My father in law just got Qwest DSL (they are 256 K) and he thought he was cool until he came over to my house and saw me downloading songs off of Kazaa in under 20 seconds.

I have a friend that is convinced that Sprint > Cox.

I used to have Sprint's cell phone service and it sucked, so I can just imagine how their internet service is

I used to have directv dsl, which was great because i got a static ip. Now that they went belly up I have speakeasy DSL ( www.speakeasy.net). They also assign static IPs and don't close any ports, so I have been pretty happy.
I have 1.5 down / 128 up. The 128 up sucks, but I don't play games online much at all if ever anymore so it doesn't bother me that much.

The cool thing about Cox is that they give you like 5 or so email accounts PLUS 10MB of webspace for each account...and they don't charge bandwidth. So you can put MP3s and stuff up there and not worry!
