How is this exploitation of women? It is a full contact full tackle league. The NWFA is women's NFL. It is the top professional and lagest women's league.
Yes the schedule is not that tough this year, cause it is the first year the NFWA has a west coast division. So right now there are only three teams in that division and the 2007 season will have 6-8 teams. Someone had to start it!
Thanks Kate for the post.
Check out our games starting in April.
We also have a new logo!

I thought the NFC West had that distinction.

Wow - I didn't think anyone would have noticed this thread.
Are you a fan of the team/league? How'd you find this site?

Well I am a fan of both the Team and the League. I am also the Co-Owner of the Tucson Wildfire Football team.
My question to you, are you a fan of the Team and the league?
Do you want to play football?

Ann,
That's awesome that you are a co-owner and that you support women playing football!
As for me, I've only recently started getting into women's football, but I've followed the NFL for years. I'll definitely keep tab on your team as the season progresses though, and I'll be sure to keep ASFN updated on your season. Good luck this year!
The only football I play is the occasional work football game, and a little flag football intramurals.
