why do i time out before i can get a message sent of any length?

I have been having trouble with timing out and getting disconnected before i can post or reply to a post. Any thought?

Poor guy probably keeps seeing new posts in here, thinking there's some sort of help to be had, but can't get to it because he keeps timing out. Eventually he's going to make it back in here & get really angry.
