I like the idea but am not too wild about the triangles. It does look too much like a Nascar banner or something.
How about the team's logos instead of the sports icons? (I don't know if that would infringe on copyrights, though.)

I don't like the top design much, sorry VB.
A banner with current players in it or something might be cooler, I dunno.

By the way, do you know the rules on using player images in the banner? Copyright or trademark stuff?

Did Skkopion ask you to come up with something? I was just curious as to why you were doing this?
